Hi, my name is Abhijith (Abhi for short). That’s pronounced like tubby without the t, like Sith with a J.

I’m an author! Hinduism in America was never well-represented or analyzed in the stories I read, so I write fiction and nonfiction to fill that gap. I also blog and write op-eds.

I used to work as a management consultant in Dallas, but I’m now pursuing a Master of Theological Studies degree at Harvard (class of ’19!).

The dream is to tell stories about the South Asian experience and help people connect to modern Hinduism through my writing. I believe in the power of storytelling to improve lives.

I’m also the Founder and CEO of a non-profit South Asian mental health organization called MannMukti. Follow us on Facebook! All the views expressed on this blog are my personal views and do not constitute any statements on behalf of MannMukti.

I’m 27 years old and I lived in Texas since migrating there from India, but now I’ve made the move to cold, cold Boston. Nothing’s more important to me than my relationships and dreams, but I make plenty of time for books, movies, travel, dance, fitness, lazy Sunday mornings, and chicken wings.

I hope you enjoy my writing =)
